Sometimes your mind will be buzzing with writing ideas, and each writing idea or project could potentially spin off into a myriad of further ideas. Rather than lose focus or momentum with your current writing project or activity, take a couple of minutes to capture your writing idea/s… and then temporarily set them to one side.
What do I mean by capture? It could be as simple as a single word, a sentence, or a couple of sentences that bring to mind your writing idea.
And it’s not important if your list of ideas is written or typed, in your favourite notebook (who doesn’t love great stationary!), a file on your virtual desktop, or in the notes app of your phone. The important thing is to simply record your ideas so that you’ll be able to return to it later.
